Liu Ning, Party Secretary of the CPC Henan Provincial Committee, paid an on-site inspection visit to Weihua Group on June 15.
A group of leading cadres accompanied the inspection, including Chen Xing, Vice Director of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial People’s Congress and Secretary-General of the Provincial Party Committee; Li Weidong, Secretary of the CPC Xinxiang Municipal Committee; Wei Jianping, Deputy Municipal Party Secretary and Mayor of Xinxiang City; and Fan Wenqing, Party Secretary of Changyuan City.

During his site tour at Weihua Group, Secretary Liu Ning asked detailed questions regarding the company’s technical innovation strides and the expansion scope of its application scenarios. Group Chairman Han Hong’an briefed the delegation on the firm’s adherence to independent R&D, which has enabled localized substitution of critical core components. He also highlighted Weihua’s remarkable achievements in CPC Party building-led development, intelligent and eco-friendly manufacturing, and the commercialization of scientific and technological breakthroughs.


Secretary Liu Ning underscored an important viewpoint put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Henan Province: modern manufacturing relies heavily on technological empowerment. He stressed the urgency of making key technical breakthroughs and blazing a trail of self-reliant innovation.


The Party Secretary further urged that enterprises should take the lead in innovation initiatives. Businesses ought to ramp up investment in research and development, conquer bottleneck core technologies, speed up full-industry-chain deployment of artificial intelligence and digital tools, and deepen CPC building among non-public enterprises to explore distinctive modern corporate governance frameworks.

In addition, he urged local government officials to maintain close communication with enterprises, view corporate demands from a governance perspective, and proactively assist businesses in policy interpretation, obstacle resolution and confidence boosting. By refining work styles and lifting service efficiency, authorities can deliver stronger backing to the real economy and drive high-quality economic growth across the region.
